Hira Lari lawn collection 2011, which was launched on the 8th of April at PC hotel by Afroze Textiles, is comprised of 12 designs. Each one of them is based on a particular theme taken from different aspects of life.

The themes include Seaweed, which is a fusion of vibrant and exotic colors found deep down the ocean.

• Butterfly is a lively combination of different colors and patterns.
• Safari is created by using animal prints but with a vivacious twist to make it appealing to special customers.
• Silk Flower is a mixture of tranquilizing colors of silk paints to give an outstanding identity.
• Antique Paisley is a traditional mélange of earthy tones. 
• Glamour is all about fascination.
• Colorful Stripes is the classic combination of black and white with contrasting colors to give a chic and trendy look.
• Evolution is a whirlpool with tonal shades of sapphire and topaz.
• Daisy is all about delicacy and artistry of Persian art.
• Floral gives the feel of fairytale with a touch of shimmer to give you an enchanting look.
• Ethnic Motif is inspired by ethnicity of our culture.
• Fusion is a blend of contemporary art with silk paints to create a bold and zesty look.

Hira Lari Lawn Fashion Show

Hira Lari launched her lawn collection on the 8th of April at PC Marquee, Karachi, the crème de la crème of media and corporate sector were present at the event.

The fashion show started with red carpet graced by the presence of known media faces; Mr. Tariq Amin, Ms. Nazneen Tariq, Mr. and Mrs. Fakhir, Ms. Tehmina Khalid, Mr. Ahmed Chinoy - CPLC, Mr. Kaleem Siddiqui - BYCO, Mr. Altaf Hashwani, Mr. Kaukab and Saba Ansari of Sabz and many more, this was followed by a speech by Mr. Feroze Alam Lari – CEO Afroze Textile Industries.

Interestingly, she has only reached the intermediate level of education. If Nausheen had not opted for acting and modelling then she would have opted for being a designer. Desiging is her second best interest. Nausheen is still in the primary years of her career where choosing the best offer can take her to heights and a wrong step can destroy it all.

Fashion designer Saim Ali recently participated in International NIVEA Fashion Week in Bosnia for the 4th time and kicked off the fashion week on 1st day with his spring formal and semi formal intoxicated collection.

The choreography was done by Saim himself on Asian and Western beat such as the remix version of Cholli ke peche and 'Crazy kiya re' likes with 'On the floor' by Jlo and the finale was on the remix version of fashion ka jalwa. The hair and Makeup was done by MAC.

The collection was a spectacular mélange of breathtaking flowy fabrics in the form of Caftans and loose draped shirts with a subtle touch of gothic aura. Designer Saim has showcased his collection all over UAE, London, Norway and in Bosnia. Pakistan's ambassador to Bosnia Mr. Jouhar saleem plays a big rule to promote Pakistani fashion in Bosnia.

UK based Sadaf Khan was the show stopper and got a lot of appreciation. Saim's next destination is Belgrade and Switzerland.
